East Road 2 North, northeast of Safeway to Peppertree Place, will be partially closed for road reconstruction starting Tuesday, Sept. 5, through Friday, Sept. 15 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

The Chino Valley Town Council rejected a rezoning proposal that would have allowed an 18-lot subdivision at Red Cinder Estates, but the council members narrowly approved a rezoning for a 14-unit apartment complex at 443 W. Palomino Road.
