Obituary: Linda Marie Ramm
Linda Marie Ramm was born in April 1958 to Della (Zimmerman) and Daniel Eickhoff in Yankton, South Dakota, and spent her childhood in Fordyce, Nebraska. She departed this earthly life surrounded by family in her Prescott Valley, Arizona home on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James Ramm, children Chris and Paige, mother Della, and 10 younger siblings and their families.
Linda loved to make people feel welcomed, and was always thoughtful of those around her. She was the undisputed queen of hospitality, and could put together snacks and drinks at a moment’s notice. Her smile lit up the room, and her laugh was contagious.
She loved cooking and was always trying new recipes, but her chicken piccata and her lemon bars will always be fondly remembered. Those who knew Linda will smile and remember how she always knew what restaurants were having specials on any given weekday. She loved to take every opportunity to celebrate with family and friends by hosting or going out for a meal, even if it was just for appetizers and a glass of wine.
She loved shopping, and had an uncanny ability to find sales. If you ever needed help shopping, she was always ready to guide you to the best deals. She was also passionate about interior decorating, and making rooms warm, inviting and fun. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling, seeing new places and finding new restaurants or wineries to experience.
Her presence in this world will be deeply missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. Remembrances can be made to the Baskin Breast Care Center via Trails4Tatas by visiting https://trails4tatas.com/products/donate-now
