On Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023, the Prescott Police Department recognized its Chief Amy Bonney for 25 years of service. Twenty-five years is no small feat and the department took this opportunity to thank Bonney for all of her hard work and dedication. The City of Prescott also stated that it is thankful for the years of service and commitment that Bonney has given to the community and its residents.

She initially started out wanting to be a music conductor, but when that didn’t pan out, Amy Bonney joined the Prescott Police Department’s (PPD) Explorers with some friends in 1992, and from that day on, she never looked back.
